I want want to remind you that Registration of Transcending Boundaries Conference (TBC) starts tomorrow July 15th at 12:05AM. It's only $59 if you register by September 30th!
The Transcending Boundaries Conference (TBC) is for bisexual/pansexual, trans/genderqueer, intersex and polyamorous people and our allies.
It will be held November 20-22, 2009 at the DCU Conference Center and the Hilton Garden Inn in Worcester, Mass.

It was four years ago today at 10AM
that we had the funeral Service for
my Brenda,
my Earthgirl
and the
"Mother of Pride"
I STILL MISS HER!

On another note, today also would have been my sister's
(Marge Brambir - 1955-1998)
54nd Birthday
I miss her too!
It's days like this that make you think only of what your have lost and not of what you still have (or will have). I am truly thankful of all my friends (on and off line)!!!.

I have been busy moving "stuff" in my apartment to get ready for the new heating system they will be putting in my building starting on Monday [for a full week].

Finally was able to post my pictures of the 17th Annual NYC Dyke March which was held on Saturday June 27, 2009. It started at Bryant Park, located at 42nd Street and 6th Avenue. The march went down 5th Avenue to Washington Square Park.

Oh I have been meaning to post about it here on Live Journal.
Starting Next Monday I have a major project being doing in my apartment/building. They are putting in a new heating system in and I have have a lot of stuff to move away from all the work areas as well as a BIG mess from all the dust from the drilling they will have to do.
This will be ALL WEEK till they are done, which can be on FRIDAY!
Just hope I will be ready by Monday at 8:30 in the f-ing Morning!

This year marks the 24th year of "The AIDS Candlelight Vigil NYC" Please come & join us.
Friday June 26, 2009 will be the 24th Aids Candle Light Vigil NYC. It was started back in 1985 by members of the Leather, Gay, Bi, & Straight Communities & Mothers March Against Aids "Beverly Rotter".
We come together to commemorate those we have loved & lost to celebrate the struggles & progress of those affected & living with HIV & AIDS. And continue to fight for a cure.
We are not politically or religiously connected. We are members of the community who care. We have only our own out of pocket funding & some from donations.
The Vigil will assemble at Christopher Street & Sheridan Square Park "Stonewall Place" at 7:00 PM
The Event is FREE & is open to everyone.

Today 6th is Nurse's Day and the start of National Nurses Week that ends on May 12th, Florence Nightingale's birthday.
I want to again thank all the Nurse's, CNA, HHA, and everyone else at Trump Pavilion of Jamaica Hospital for the care that that gave my Brenda while she was there in 2005 and for the comfort you gave me after her passing.
I also want to wish all the Nurse's, CNA, HHA, etc. out there that take care of someone. I do know how it can be a hard job.
