Dear program and reg at arisia

I am so sorry but I will not be able to make Arisia after all.
My bustopher is very sick and he needs me to be here for him.

I was hoping to make it for at least part of the con and do some of my 5 panels, but it like that is not an option.

I am going to the Vet again today to see what needs to be done, but I do not think what she tells me will change my need [but you never know].

You can read more about Bustopher on my Livejournal: http://lordlnyc.livejournal.com/tag/bustopher

Sorry to hear that (Bustopher, and Arisia too, but there will be other Arisias). Good luck. I know how hard it can be!

FWIW, I know this is hard, but you might want to consider asking the Vet what they would do if it was their cat. We let Fudge suffer too long and when it was finally time to put him to sleep, he died in the car on the way to the vet, an experience I hope to never repeat. So, when his brother Peach started going downhill on skis, we made the decision to end his suffering.

Of course, we still miss them both but at least we have Cookie and Peanut to fill part of the void.

Thank you so much. I had to go through this back in 2004 with my Boots. I know I might have to make "That" decision in a few month - but G-d willing you never know.

Thank you, I wish I could give good news but even with the meds he will get, he only has a few months - but G-d willing you never know.

Just wanted to let you know I'm thinking about you and your little one. At least, one of the two functional brain cells is thinking about the two of you. The other one wants to go to bed already.
