Queens Pride with Queens PFLAG and the NYABN

This Sunday, June 1st, the 16th Annual Queens Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual and Transgender Pride Parade & Multi-Cultural Festival will be held and the Queens Chapter of PFLAG (Parents, Families and Friends of Lesbians and Gays) and the New York Area Bisexual Network (NYABN) needs your help in carrying their banners.

If fact you can be the first to help carry the new banner (see cut below) that the network just got!

The parade steps off at 12:00 NOON (so we should meet there at 11:30AM)
somewhere on 89th Street Near 37th Avenue in Jackson Heights Queens (NYC).

I'm hoping to be there (possibly with a friend); it depends on how I feel. Somehow, I always seem to get sick at cons, but I think (hope?) I'll be fine by Sunday. I'll let you know. :-)

(Also? I love the banner. And remind me to tell you what happened at con...yes, I'll know what that means. *g*)

I'm going to try to come, but even if I do make it, I don't think I'll be able to march; I'd just stand on the sidelines and cheer. But no matter what, I'll be thinking of you, and y'all'll be in my thoughts and prayers. *hugs*

I do hope you can make it and march, but if you can't march, I hope I will see you at the Festival!

As for the march, so far I am the only one and therfore only the one (PFLAG) banner will get carried. Sometimes, I don't know who will march till I get there.

If I was not doing the march in Queens, then I might have tried to be there.

I do plan to put the Networks' banner in HOP march. Maybe you could help me carry the Network's banner then? I would love to finally meet you.
