Today we remember what happened at the Stonewall Inn in NYC as "Pride day", but you might also remember brendahoward, "Mother of Pride" and bisexual activist, who coordinated the first month anniversary rally and then the "Christopher Street Gay Liberation Day March" on June 28, 1970 to commemorate the first year anniversary of the Stonewall Rebellion.

She passed away 11 year ago today, from Colon cancer.

Yom Kippur - 5775

To my fellow Jewish friends who will be celebrating Yom Kippur later tonight, may you all have an easy and meaningful Yom Kippur as well as a good year. And may we all be sealed in the book of good life.

I will be at the Jacob Javits Center tonight and tomorrow with CBST. You can too, CBST have a open-door policy and anyone can attend you just have to register on site for their Kol Nidre service when you get there If you are doing on-site registration please arrive early! Doors open at 5:30pm  Kol Nidre, 6:00 PM

Oh, and if you are fasting:

L'shanah Tovah!

Tomorrow night is Rosh Hashanah and once again I am going to attend Congregation Beth Simchat Torah(CBST)'s Holy Day Services.

Their Rosh Hashanah services will be held at a the Jacob Javits Center. They have an open door policy so anyone is welcome to attend!

If anyone wants a name spoken during the healing prayer, just let me know by 4pm tomorrow night.
