Transgender Day of Remembrance

Today is Transgender Day of Remembrance

In New York City....

The Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual & Transgender Community Center will be hosting a Transgender Day of Remembrance from 7:00 - 8:30 PM on Thursday, November 20th, located at 208 West 13th Street, New York City 10011.
The event will consist of:
• Candlelight Vigil
• Moment of silence
• Display of quilts, collages and other meaningful items
• Participants will create “Tree of Life”
• Community leaders/ advocates
• Community Voices
