Off to bed, but before I go to sleep, I have a question. Does anyone know how to transfer pictures from an iphone 3G to a PC with out the need to use "paint" to rotate the pictures 90 degrees afterwards.

Bed now

I don't know, but I believe the iPhone includes EXIF tags with the rotation used...if you can find software that'll use those, it should do the right thing. I'm sure there's a tool somewhere that'll read the EXIF tags and do a lossless JPEG rotation, though I don't know what's available on Windows. (On Mac/Linux I'd probably just glue my own together.)

Thanks for the input.

I googled on Saturday looking on ways to do it and a suggestion I found was to...

1) go into My computer and find it listed under "Scanners and Cameras". 2x Click on the iPhone and the photo folder will open up.

2) Copy to another folder the pictures I want.

But when I look at the photos their rotations are off.
most are rotated 90 degrees left [1 is 180] while maybe 1-3 are correct. [BTW I talking about 117 pictures]
