LGBT people & family members 'Coming Out' in Queens? We're here to help!

  • Are you thinking of or have you just 'come out' to your family?

  • Has a member of your family or close friend recently 'come out' to you?

  • Do you know that there is a support group for you and that there is a local chapter located right here in Queens?

That group is called PFLAG (Parents, Families and Friends of Lesbians and Gays) and the PFLAG Queens Chapter is here to assist you right in your own community.

If you need a friendly & supportive voice you can call us at: 718-271-6663.    If we are not in, leave a message and someone will discreetly get back to you.    And of course, all calls are completely confidential.

We meet at 2:00 pm on the 3rd Sunday of the month.    Our next meeting will be this Sunday, December 18th 2005.

Our meetings are held at:
The Reform Temple of Forest Hills
71-11 112th Street (2 blocks north of Queens Boulevard) in Forest Hills Queens

These are 'Open' meetings -- anyone who needs help or can give help is invited -- 'walk-in's' particularly encouraged!

The holidays can be a confusing and stressful time for LGBT (Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual or Transgender) people or families & friends of LGBT people.    We know because many of us have been there too.    But with Queens PFLAG around they don't have to be quite so confusing or lonely.

Please Come And Visit With Us!
