About 45 mins ago, I got off the phone with my Mother and the first thing she asked my was "Are you alive? Do I sitll have a child?". Thinking that she somehow heard about me being attacked and almost killed last week but not want to tell her about it outright I only said "yes". Then she asked if I knew what today was and said I said "no". Well she remindered me that today is the 8th anniversary of my sisters passing (see note below). She then went into the fact she was glad that she still had a child that was alive (could hear her beat back the tears). Well you know I did't tell her about what happened to me last Saturday.
I guess Life sucks sometimes.
